A selection of artworks created by pupils from
Nursery up to Year 6. Part of a summer term
artist-in-residence project that aimed to produce
artworks with pupils for permanent display around
the school.
Artworks included mosaics, low-relief sculptures (re-cast in concrete and then painted with acrylics), paper weaving etc. Nursery pupils designed their own large mosaic, featuring numbers and digits 1 - 9 for permanent display and reference in their nursery class.
External mosaics were created by other year groups, exploring art and Numeracy links such as tessellation, symmetry and number patterns.

Painted windows for assembly hall door. Created in
two days by gifted and talented pupils from Year 2
- Year 6. Each image is based on the school's
thematic curriculum. Glass paint has been used on
perspex sheets cut to size to fit within each
window.
